About the Course

You will learn to understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences, which relate to the satisfying of concrete needs. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves – e.g. where they live, who they know and what they own – and can respond to questions of this nature. Can communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help.


Learning Plan

  • Reading |
    You will learn to read texts such as brief notes, classified advertisements, signposts and posters and complete exercises on these texts.

  • Writing |
    You will learn to fill in simple forms and write a short text about yourself on an everyday topic.

  • Listening |
    You will learn to listen to short everyday conversations, telephone messages or public announcements over a loudspeaker and complete exercises on what you have heard.

  • Speaking |
    You will learn to introduce yourself to the group before taking part in a question-and-answer session on everyday matters and asking someone in the group forsomething.
