As a sequel to Hallo, Halle! February edition which covered mindfulness, on May 29th 2021 Hallo, Halle! discussed burnout, a phenomenon that is strongly associated with our modern world. Burnout is not exactly a new occurrence but during the pandemic this phenomenon has drawn the attention of various groups. The current uncertain situation and increased pressure due to the effects of the pandemic result in many people, both workers and students, experiencing symptoms of burnout. Fatigue and being constantly overwhelmed to the point of declining spirit can be a sign that someone is experiencing burnout.

For about two hours psychologist Ellyana Dwi Farisandy explained about burnout, its causes and its symptoms in front of around 15-20 participants during the online event. The session started with a presentation on the difference between feeling stressed and experiencing burnout. The participants were then also informed about the impact of burnout on the body, mind, emotions, and behavior. Besides learning about how we recognize the symptoms of burnout, the participants also received information on how to deal with burnout.

As usual Hallo, Halle! was conducted in an interactive and fun way which was even more enhanced through a with a myth or fact game. The participants showed their enthusiasm while participating in the game and asking questions to Ellyana. At the end of the event, all participants and speakers took a group picture together.
